Hola & welcome

My name is Ali Horton, and I was born and raised in Tijuana, Mexico. I moved to the States many moons ago, but my passion for photography started not so many moons ago.

While living in LA, I began photographing surfers, friends, families, and eventually children, drawing from my 15+ years of experience as a nanny. I aim to capture your family just as you are, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Photos are more than just pictures to me—they're a way to travel back in time. During a difficult chapter of my life, when I faced homelessness and lost many belongings, the photographs I held onto became my most treasured keepsakes.

That’s why I love creating and preserving memories for you. Let’s chat about your vision, spend an hour or so together, and create photographs that your family—and generations to come—can cherish forever.

What to expect during our session?

Our time together will last around 45 minutes to a little over an hour, giving us plenty of opportunities to connect and for me to get to know you and your family.

We'll capture a mix of posed and candid moments, allowing your family’s unique dynamics and personality to shine through. When working with little ones, rest assured that I will never force or pressure anyone to participate. I aim to create a fun and relaxed environment where everyone feels at ease, resulting in genuine and timeless memories.

Whether your family consists of 12 or is just the two of you, I can assure you that we will have a great time.
